Instructions

  1. Brown Beef – In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef with onion, garlic powder, and paprika until no pink remains. Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Transfer to Slow Cooker – Add browned beef mixture to slow cooker.

  3. Add Ingredients – Stir in beef broth, diced potatoes, peas and carrots, and cream of mushroom soup. Mix well.

  4. Season – Add salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Cook – Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours, until potatoes are tender.

  6. Add Cheese – If using, stir in shredded cheddar cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

  7. Serve – Stir well and serve hot. Perfect as is or with a side of bread!
