Grandma Secret Soaked Milk Cake

A classic Latin American dessert! This creamy, moist milk cake is soaked in a blend of three milks—evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream—creating the most decadent, tender cake you'll ever taste. Topped with whipped cream and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 5 large eggs, separated

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (divided)

  • ⅓ cup whole milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Three-Milk Mixture:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Topping:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • Fresh strawberries, maraschino cherries, or mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
